Lily Snowden-Fine is the writer of Peppa Pig and was also the voice of the title character. She was a writer for the episode, "The New House". In addition to Peppa, she voiced many other characters like Melissa, Peppa Clones, Beat Box, and Paper Jam Peppa. She was previously a storyboard artist for Rugrats (during Seasons 7-10) before voicing Peppa Pig.

On July 3, 2005, Lily Snowden-Fine left Nickelodeon because of the second season of the show (due to her voice becoming too deep for Peppa.) A Nickelodeon spokesperson said that the show, which is still in its first season, will continue. In October 2005, it was announced that Cecily Bloom voices Peppa Pig for Season 2 and for Harley Bird voices Peppa Pig for Season 3 and onwards.

  • In an interview, Lily explained that Peppa Pig is a fictionalized account of her childhood, even though it is false.

  • In 2004 she was nominated for an Emmy for the first episode ever of Peppa Pig.
  • She has been relaxed, but because of her Peppa Pig disorder she went on. She is currently now making doodles on her instagram and Peppa Pig animations back from 2004. In 2006, she returned to the animation industry or television industry (excluding Nickelodeon).
